Existing laws are not adequate to address the current technology use, let alone the rise of autonomous vehicles and technology such as automated AI call centers. Canada lacks a strategy governing digital rights regarding issues such as consent, data collection, fair use, compensation, and privacy.

Bianca Wylie, a leading Digital Rights activist, and Nathaniel Erskine Smith, MP and member of the Public Safety and National Security Committee, will be joining us on January 21, 2019.
